- I am a fervent optimist. My friends and family mean the world to me and I don't know what I would do without them. I am a neat freak and absolutely love decorating-- pastels, monograms, and lots of photos are a must in any room. When I am on the water I feel at home; boating is my favorite thing to do. I love big, floppy hats and wish I had more occasions to wear them. I just completed my Masters of Teaching at the University of Virginia's Curry School. I absolutely adore kids and the energy they have (I am not looking forward to that teacher salary though...)! Sundresses, cardigans, and boots are my favorite wardrobe staples. And of course, no outfit is complete without a smile! I've lived in the same house my entire life and love all things Richmond and Virginia. I am a picky eater: Macaroni and cheese is still one of my favorite foods. I love to read and collect quotes. I can't imagine living anywhere other than THE South. Enjoy reading! -Allie
